Our Story

On November 1, 1954, Frank C. Videon, Sr. opened the doors to his Chrysler DeSoto dealership, named Silsby and Videon. In 1957, he bought out his partner and formed Frank C. Videon, Inc.

Over the years he worked hard to create an honest and caring dealership that would look out for its customers. He hired employees that stayed with him for years, with many of them working for over 20 years with him at Frank C. Videon, Inc.

In 1983 Frank purchased the local Dodge dealership, and in 1984 he and his son Frank C. Videon, Jr., purchased the local Chevrolet dealership. All 3 dealerships were run with honesty and integrity.

Over the years, Frank Sr.’s son, Wayne Videon, ran the Dodge dealership and his son, Steve Videon, ran the Chrysler dealership. In 2006, the Chrysler and Dodge store merged, and they purchase the Jeep franchise in 2008. Also, in 2008, the now Videon Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership opened up in a new 25,000 square foot building in neighboring Edgmont Township. Unfortunately, in 2009, after General Motors filed bankruptcy, GM closed the Videon Chevrolet dealership.

Today, Videon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, operated by Steve, Wayne, and Steve’s son, Matt, still honor their father (grandfather) by operating the dealership with honesty and integrity. They pride themselves in having the most knowledgeable sales people, and the best trained technicians, with their ultimate goal of having the most satisfied customers.

In 2018 the Videon’s were thrilled to have the opportunity to purchase Kelly Chevrolet in Phoenixville. After the original Videon Chevrolet dealership was closed by GM in 2009, the Videon’s always had a desire to own another Chevrolet dealership. Kelly Chevrolet was a great opportunity for the Videon’s to acquire another family-run business with a great reputation with the goal to make it even better.
