The GM Supplier Discount allows GM supplier employees and their spouses to purchase new, eligible Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles below MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price). Use your discount with any new car special and save even more on your next vehicle.

Employee Eligibility

Who is eligible?

To qualify for this discount, you must work for an eligible GM supplier or business associate, such as a commercial or fleet customer. Eligibility requires working as an active salaried (full- and part-time) employee. Spouses of such employees and hourly employees are also eligible; all eligible persons must live in the United States. Contract employees cannot use this discount.

Which vehicles fall under the GM Supplier Discount?

Most new and unused GM vehicles, including:

  • Cars
  • Midsize, light-duty, and HD pickup trucks
  • SUVs and crossovers
  • Passenger and cargo vans

We recommend checking eligibility before you buy since make/model eligibility can vary. You must request an authorization number up to one year from your vehicle purchase or lease date. If a family member or friend uses the discount, they have 90 days from the authorization number date of issue to utilize the supplier pricing discount.

This discount does not apply to previously purchased GMC, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Buick vehicles.

To prove your eligibility and enjoy this discount, please present your valid authorization number and the following information:

  • A copy of your company ID/badge OR a copy of a current pay stub (within the last 30 days) If you use the pay stub, black out all information except your name, date, and name of the supplier company.
  • A copy of your driver’s license with the driver’s license number blacked out.
